My 9th Birthday Party

My birthday party was the best day of the year! I invited more than 20 friends, because I wanted a lot of presents, though most of them will be recycled. :(  At first, I was quite worried as it was raining cats and dogs, and if all my friends will be late for my party. To my surprise, many of my friends came early, but Rachael, my best friend, came at 1.50pm! :o

I brought Nibbles, my white hamster. It entertained everybody by running up and down its enormous, yellow cage. As not many of them own hamsters as pets, all their eyes were fixed on the little, white furball.

Soon, more and more of my friends arrived. When they all came, we started a game called "Balloon Fight". Each of us tried to make other people drop their balloons so we could get more balloons to fight with. We take our balloons and hit each other.

When the magician came, they were quite shocked to see us so fierce! Soon, everyone settled down and sat on the floor.

The first half an hour was the magic workshop. The magic workshop taught us how to do magic. Unfortunately, the magic tricks were quite lame. As most of my friends were also feeling bored, they went up and took food while the magician was still teaching us tricks! :I

Finally, the intensely boring magician left and another magician came. Nobody even left the mesmerising show and took food when he did his amazing tricks! During the first part of his show, he made two doves with feathers as white as snow fly around the room. Some of his coolest tricks were: he put a small canary bird on his shoulder and when he broke a plastic egg, the bird came out from the egg! The second best trick was when he put a two-dollar note in a transparent box, shook the box and about 10 more 2-dollar notes came out. How my friends would love to learn that trick! $ (The notes were real)

The third trick was when he took a white dove in his hand, let it fly up and then the little dove turned into paper! The last trick he did was that he asked me to go up on stage. He then put a stuffed toy rabbit in a transparent container, and asked me to cover the rabbit with a cap. Then I took up the cover and to my surprise, I saw a real-life bunny! The little bunny was of course really petrified at the sight of so many people crowding around it. My friends must look like monsters to the poor bunny.

All those tricks took about 1 and a half hour to finish. After that, Papa brought out my cake. It was a blue-coloured, two-tiered cake with polka dots at the bottom layer and stripes at the top layer. My name was on the wonderful cake. Many of my friends had cameras too! They took pictures of my birthday cake. After we lighted the candles, we sang the "Happy birthday song". I grinned from ear to ear and blew out the candles with all my might.

While aunty cut the cake, my friends and I had a photo taking session with the animals that the magician brought. I put the cute bunny on my lap, the white dove on my head and the yellow canary on my shoulder.

After eating the cake, my friends left. But the party did not end yet! Two of my closest friends, Elizabeth and Rachael, came to my house for a while. First, we played with my sister's cooking toys. Then, when Elizabeth left, Rachael and I went to play with the photo booth on mummy's computer. We pulled funny faces and tried different effects. When Rachael left, I did the best thing of a birthday - unwrapping my presents! Most of my friends gave me stickers as they all know my hobby is collecting stickers. It was an exhausting day but unforgettable.

Fun Day With Friends

30 January 2011 was a day full of fun activities. In the morning, I went to my best friend's birthday party at Tott. We made delicious chocolate chip cookies in all kinds of shapes and sizes. There was a small playground at Tott too. Rachael bought a rainbow pinata. We snatched the yummy sweets. I took many sweets. Rachael had an enormous ice-cream cake. Rachael, Elizabeth and me ate the cake and chatted together.

After we finished the cake, we went to play in the little, tiny playground for kids 2-6 years old. We did not care about the rules of the playground, and climbed up and down like mischievous monkeys!

Soon, Mummy, Papa and Little Bee came. Little Bee played in the playground for a while, while Mummy chatted with other mummies. Papa went home to take something.

When Papa came to fetch us back, it was raining cats and dogs. We ate our brunch there. After we ate our brunch, we went home and tidied our house.

Andrea and gang were coming to our house at night! When they came to our house, we played with Little Bee's "Playcorn" game. It was very fun. Then we played Wii games. We played Tennis, Baseball, Bowling and Ping Pong on Wii Sports. We played iPhone games together.

Everyone was amazed by our pet octopus. Everybody crowded around the octopus tank when Papa fed the octopus. The octopus was scared by so many people, and everyone only saw one tentacle :(

Around 10.30pm, they all went home.
